1. What’s the story behind the name “Allerayde SAB”?
Great question—it’s part lore, part inside joke! “Allerayde” is a vintage name (think Brontë meets Black Sabbath), and “SAB” stands for… well, that’s open to interpretation. Some say Stories, Allergies, and Biscuits. Others whisper Scribbles, Anvils, and Books. The truth? It’s Sat Amongst Books—but like any good fandom acronym, we encourage you to invent your own. (“Sassy Alien Bards” is 100% canon.)
2. Do you offer plus sizes or sweatshirt options?
Yes! Most of our designs come in unisex t-shirts (S–3XL) and cozy crewneck sweatshirts (S–2XL). We partner with print-on-demand providers that prioritize fit and fabric quality—so whether you’re a hobbit or a Hufflepuff, you’ll find your size. Check individual product pages for size charts and fabric details.
3. Are your books available in print, ebook, or audiobook?
Currently, our books (including The Itchy History of Allergy and Walt Disney Through the Eyes of His Characters) are available in print and PDF ebook formats. Audiobooks are in the works—imagine Maleficent narrating her memoir! All books are sold directly through our site or select indie bookshops.
4. How do you come up with your punny designs?
Usually at 2 a.m., fueled by coffee and the sudden realization that “My Patronus Is a Pit Bull” needed to exist. Seriously—every design starts with fandom love + linguistic mischief. We test puns on real fans (and one very judgmental cat) before printing. If it makes someone snort-laugh and say “I need that,” it’s a keeper.
5. Do you take custom orders or commissions?
While we don’t do one-off custom shirts (our magic is in the mass-produced puns!), we do accept theme suggestions! Have a brilliant idea for a “Star Trek + Allergy” crossover tee? Tell us! We also offer bulk discounts for fan clubs, book clubs, or convention swag—just reach out via the Contact page.
6. Where do you ship, and how long does it take?
We ship worldwide!
Print-on-demand apparel: Ships from local facilities (US, EU, AU, CA, UK) to reduce delivery times and carbon footprint.
→ US: 5–8 business days
→ International: 10–20 business days
Books: Printed and shipped from the US & UK. Allow 7–14 days domestic, 2–4 weeks international.
Tracking info is emailed as soon as your order ships. And yes—Mittens inspects every package before it leaves.
